Watch Cat

I love to watch all the dogs taking their masters to the park in the evening.
So glad I am a safe distance away that they don't even notice me.
If I meowed right now it wouldn't be pretty.

Chilling on the front steps

I wonder where all the cats in the hood hang
out during the day...

If I'm patient maybe Slo-Mo will come visit.
He is grey and white and a much bigger kitty than me.
He comes by sometimes in the evenings, but I'm
not allowed to go out after dark.

Meowme says I have lost 2 lbs since she switched
my diet to a healthy more natural food.

I guess that means I will be able to out run
Slo-Mo if he drops by.

P.S. I have been thinking about my blogger friend 222 lately and hope that things get better.
 Been there.

Sunday is for climbing trees

I got to go out in the front yard today. This doesn't happen very often, but I was being really clingy to Meowme all day so she gave in and took me out with her.

Hmm...I think I will climb the tree.

 ...up I go!

This is kind of tricky...too many branches in the way.

Ok Meowme....I'll get down.

See tree...I can climb you if I want to! (evil howl)

I think I will just chill here on the porch for a while.

Party for One on a Saturday Night

This is my Pink Panther head...he is my favorite toy in the whole world.

Wild Mountain Catnip.... my Saturday night drug of choice.
Meowme was taking too long to get the lid off so I helped her....oops....

For some added fun I dragged Pinky's face through the happy nip. I don't think he really liked it much

I get silly on my Happy Nip....it gets everywhere. I sneeze when it goes up my nose. Meowme says I'm not supposed to snort the nip, so I eat it when she's not looking.

I'll probably be up all night , look at the size of my pupils....maybe I'll go bug meowme while she sleeps. She hates it when I race upside down underneath the bed. Oooh but it feels so good on my back.

Adoption Application

After posting last night I got to thinking about those kitties that I didn't get. They always kept me wondering what the mystery was as to why the person suddenly changed their mind about letting me adopt them. So I decided to Google "Lost Bengal Cats Ontario". I didn't get any hits that hinted that any of the missing cats online could be these two but I did find a very interesting article: 52 Cats Rescued Talk about raining cats... Raining bengals no less!
I made a few phone calls this morning and filled out the online bengal adoption application in the hopes that one or possibly two of these 52 could come live with us. Now I'm told I have to wait to see if once my application is screened I hopefully get a personal interview to see if I qualify as a kitty mom. One of the main reasons why all the interest in the bengal breed is because next to a hairless cat (Ewww) they are the least allergic cat around. Bengals are described as having a very short tight pelt-like coat. I know Rivergirl is thinking that if you are not allergic to these kitties why not take all 52! (Insert wink here)

Keeping my fingers crossed......
